After nearly two decades without change, the Canadian Concrete Masonry Producers Association (CCMPA) will implement a modest Levy adjustment effective January 1, 2026.
The national rate will rise from $0.05 to $0.07 per CMU, and in Quebec (which includes a new provincial component), the combined total will be $0.10 per CMU.
This small increase ensures continued support for research, codes and standards defense, technical innovation, and advocacy—critical areas that protect and advance the masonry industry’s market position in a rapidly evolving carbon and policy landscape.
The Levy remains the foundation of CCMPA’s ability to fund cutting-edge sustainability studies, represent producers nationally, and champion resilient, low-carbon construction across Canada.
Together, we’re investing in a stronger, smarter, and more sustainable future for Canadian masonry.
