What a year 2024 was! All across Canada, our industry has come together and taken the leap into the Carbon Conversation! As you know this is a quickly changing landscape and we want to do our best to keep you in the know. With this in mind, the Carbon Conversation is going LIVE with industry experts! CCMPA is hosting a CMU & Sustainability Summit on September 10th at Nottawasaga Resort in Alliston Ontario (Our AGM event is the following day, September 11th at the same location.)

We have invited industry experts from across the value chain to come and speak with our group on the challenges, changes and chances for CMU in building today.

Speakers include:

  • Block Production: Heidi Jandris, Jandris Block
  • Carbon measuring Tools and Tech: Chris Erikson, CEO Climate Earth
  • CMU Design and Utility: John Wells (Principal) and Kathleen Tiede (Building Performance Analysis), Kilgour-Crozier
  • CMU & Construction: Jolene Mclaughlin, VP Sustainability, Ellis Don.

This excellent line up of speakers will present each of their unique perspectives individually, and then will come together for a panel discussion and Q&A which will be moderated by the incredibly talented Sarah Petrevan, VP Industrial Carbonization and Sustainability at the Cement Association of Canada.

We are looking forward to gaining valuable insights from these varying perspectives on the outside looking in! This event is not to be missed and seating is limited – get your tickets now!
