Annually CCMPA supports a charity, forwarded by a member, by holding a raffle around the time of our Annual General Meeting and Golf Tournament. Raffle tickets are sold by members. Funds are also raised by selling hole sponsorships at the golf tournament along with a live auction at the dinner.
In previous years we have supported the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Sunrise Therapeutic Riding Camp, Samaritan Foundation’s Journey 2009 to Dominican Republic, Society of Portuguese Disabled Persons Fund and the Niagara Falls Soup Kitchen, Italian Canadian HandiCapable Association in Windsor, Wounded Warriors, Bruce Peninsula Health Services Foundation is raising funds for a new ultrasound machine to be housed at the Wiarton Hospital site.
